Unified Tracking Dashboard
Airbezz integrates direct tracking APIs from all major global carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS, Aramex, etc.) into your central dashboard. You and your customers do not need to check different courier websites to track packages. However, international shipments pass through multiple checkpoints, and understanding tracking status terminology is essential.
Decoding Common Tracking Statuses
- In Transit: The package has left the origin facility and is moving towards the destination.
- Customs Clearance: The cargo has reached the destination port and is undergoing inspection by local customs authorities. This is a standard procedure and typically completes in 24-48 hours.
- Delivery Exception: An unexpected event has occurred, preventing immediate delivery. Common causes include incorrect delivery addresses, missing contact numbers, or custom duty payments pending from the receiver.
How to Resolve Delivery Exceptions
If a package is flagged with an exception, check the exception details on your dashboard immediately. If it's an incorrect address, you can edit the address details directly from your portal, and the updated address will be synced with the carrier. If it's a duty unpaid exception, prompt your customer to pay the customs invoice using the link emailed to them by the carrier to avoid the shipment being returned to origin.
